PURPOSE

This Coaching and Mentoring course is intended for those who need to select and coach first line managers. It is important to select a first line manager who has the potential to grow into
an identified role. It is crucial to know the Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and the Key Result Areas (KRAs) before filling a position. A job profile must be evaluated
in order to determine the KPAs for a first line manager. The purpose of a job profile is to define the function, accountabilities and requirements of a position. This
course explains the difference between KPAs and KRAs, and looks at the employee selection process, assessments and the interview process.
