This fruit packaging and grading process qualification equips learners with the practical skills to excel in the broad fruit packaging and grading processes and practices. These include receiving, handling, packing, storing, grading, and dispatching of fruits, ensuring that you are competent and ready for the industry.

Students will master specialized techniques in fruit quality assessment, packaging machinery operation, cold chain management, and hygiene procedures while developing essential communication and mathematical literacy skills.

Module 1: Mathematical Literacy

• Demonstrate an understanding of the use of different number bases and measurement units and an awareness of error in the context of relevant calculations
• Describe, apply, analyse and calculate shape and motion in 2-and 3-dimensional space in different contexts
