This course is designed for business people who want to gain negotiation skills through communication. People don't always agree on certain issues because everyone wants to have their say and be heard. Negotiation is a skill that one can use to come up with solutions so that an agreement can be reached. You will be trained to recognise situations where one can negotiate. You will be taught all the properties of an argument and how to be successful at negotiating. Like a speech, negotiation has to be prepared and planned for. There are fears and barriers of negotiating that one should be aware of and avoid at all times with all the steps provided here.

In this course you will be provided with six steps that will help you become a successful negotiator. Being a successful negotiator is important because it contributes to business success, your relationships with other people improve as you become a person with solutions, and it is a leadership quality. Conflict should not be avoided, rather it should be dealt with using the most advanced communication techniques. Negotiation is one of those techniques.
