Qualification Overview

This qualification is designed for those who want to build on a FETC in any field to enter the field of Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development (ODETD) as a potential career with little previous ETD exposure. It prepares learning facilitators, assessors, learner and learning supporters, and skills development facilitators.

  • • Demonstrate knowledge of OBE principles and practices

Module 5: Evaluate Learning Interventions

  • • Assess the effectiveness of learning programmes and interventions

Module 6: Facilitate Learning Using Appropriate Methodologies

  • • Apply various facilitation techniques to enhance learning

Module 7: Guide Learners About Learning and Career Opportunities

  • • Provide information and guidance on educational pathways

Module 8: Provide Skills Development Advice to Organisations

  • • Offer consultative support for workplace skills development
