Overview
This unit standard is intended for managers in all economic sectors. These managers would typically be second level managers such as heads of department, section heads or divisional heads, who may have more than one team reporting to them. The qualifying learner is capable of liaising and networking with internal and external stakeholders, devising and applying a strategy to establish constructive relationships with team members in a unit, devising and applying a strategy to establish constructive relationships with managers and identifying and minimising personal conflict in the workplace.
Description
This course on ‘Devise and Apply Strategies to Establish and Maintain Workplace Relationships’ is designed for managers across all economic sectors, specifically second-level managers such as heads of departments, section heads, or divisional heads who oversee multiple teams. Participants will learn to liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders, devise and implement strategies to establish constructive relationships with team members and managers, and identify and minimise personal conflict in the workplace.
